Rotary Sporting Clays Shoot Update
The Rotary Shoot Team has begun preparations for Daybreak Rotary’s 19th Annual Sporting Clays Shoot.  It will be held on Saturday August 20th 2022, at Copperhead Creek Shooting Club, Marble Falls, Tx.
The Rotary Shoot Team has begun preparations for Daybreak Rotary’s 19th Annual Sporting Clays Shoot.  It will be held on Saturday August 20th 2022, at Copperhead Creek Shooting Club, Marble Falls, Tx.  We have already created Flyers and Registration forms that can be printed and distributed to local businesses.  Online versions will be uploaded when field activation is completed.  Copies should be available at Daybreak Rotary Tuesday morning meetings or by contacting Brandon Seely, Shoot Chairperson.

The Gun for the Raffle has already been donated by Copperhead Creek Shooting Club!  It is a Savage Impulse Hog Hunter in 6.5 Creedmore, with scope, rings, cover, and case.
The Impulse is Savage’s new style action using a straight pull bolt.
Full retail for this package is $3300.00!  The winning raffle ticket will be drawn after the Shoot is completed. Raffle Tickets have already been printed and can be obtained at an upcoming Daybreak Rotary meeting or from Taylor Smith at First United Bank - 418 N. Hwy 281, Marble Falls, TX 78654.
Many Thanks to Copperhead Creek Shooting Club for their annual support of our Rotary Shoot!

We are still working on obtaining the Prizes for the Top Shooters and Teams.

The Shoot Team would like to have a Silent Auction in addition to our Gun Raffle for the Sporting Clay Shoot. To do this we will need to find Silent Auction items.  We need help from others in the Daybreak and Noon Rotary Clubs to help us find some great Silent Auction items.
Below is a list of some ideas of things to ask Folks about:

  • A local/nearby Hunting package that does not require high additional expenses for the winner.

  • A local bed-and-breakfast or Airbnb that would be willing to donate a weekend retreat.

  • Other Silent Auction Item ideas:
    • Shooting items
    • Hunting Items
    • Fishing Items
    • Local Items
    • Arts and Crafts

Please email any ideas to the Rotary Shoot Team - RotaryShoot@marblefallsdaybreak.org.

This year the Rotary Presidential Theme is “Making a Difference.”

As Rotarians, business leaders and citizens of our local community it is our responsibility to make a difference.  At Daybreak Rotary we do this with our Foster Care and Adoption Awareness Program, College and Vocational Scholarships, and sending high school students to Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), along with many  Global Programs we support.
