Kurt Cotter is Area Director for Young Life -- a Christian based youth organization.
Young Life invites young people to experience life as God designed it to be lived.
Kurt engaged gathered Rotarians with an enthralling tale from his youth exploring the sewer system of Houston -- and getting lost!
Young Life has several units in the Highland Lakes including Marble Falls, Burnet, Johnson City and Llano/Kingsland. Kurt has served as the Highland Lakes Area Director since 2012, although his time in Marble Falls began in September 2009 with his work at Camp Peniel. He has worked in various roles with Young Life for over a decade from volunteer to full-time. Kurt’s hobbies include fly fishing and hiking. He’s most famous for a 3000-mile cycling tour in 2007.

After his tale of exploring the Houston sewer system, we were all wide awake! Kurt explained how YL creates an easy and safe place for youth to gather, have fun with other youth, and in a non-intrusive way to hear about Christ.

Kurt also talked about the 100 Man Give a Damn fundraiser that meets quarterly to benefit a local charity.
