The YMCA in Burnet has some programs about which you may not be aware. Like Camp, Afterschool (on three campuses) and Child Care. See her program on the Daybreak YouTube channel.
Our speaker on December 14 was Rebecca (Becca) McCrocklin (Becca McCrocklin), Program Director of Camp, Afterschool, and Child Care at Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) Burnet Texas which is a unit of YMCA of Greater Williamson County. The photo of the YMCA cardio-theatre will take care of those post-holiday pounds.
As the Program Director, her responsibility is to oversee the licensed camp programs, licensed after school programs, and child watch programs, and to provide a safe environment for the children. She supervises more than 20 staff to ensure they manage over 100 children every day, while also interacting with the children as they participate in the planned activities and curriculum. Becca is also responsible for the aspects of state and local licensing for the two programs throughout the year.
Becca is a 2012 graduate of Marble Falls High School and 2016 graduate of Texas State University San Marcos.
She has also served as Program Coordinator, Child Watch Lead, Member Representative, Teen Zone Counselor, and Child Watch Counselor for the YMCA.
This program was arranged by Rotarian James McCrocklin
