TxDOT to discuss blowing of the bridge

 The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will give a presentation at the Daybreak Rotary on Tuesday March 5^th at 7:00 a.m. The program will detail the pending demolition of the old bridge structure on Highway 281 over Lake Marble Falls.  Representatives from TxDOT and Archer Western, the contractor for the bridge, will explain how they intend to use explosives to bring down the old structure as a part of the demolition process.  The presentation will include the planning process, transportation plan, and safety safeguards being taken to assure the safety of homes, businesses, the environment, and the public during the demolition process.
