Dr. Kelly Fox, Director, Higher Education Teaching Sites at Fredericksburg and the Highland Lakes (Marble Falls), and Lance Pickle, Admissions Director, filled us in the latest activity at TTU in Marble Falls.TTU in concert with Central Texas College (CTC) offers an affordable way for local students to obtain either a 2-year or 4-year degree. Instead of the average $92,000 4-year cost, the CTC/TTU approach can be done for around $35,000, according to Pickle. TTU has academic offerings in 21 areas of study.
Some of the education process here includes distance learning that permits direct contact with courses being presented on the Tech campus in Lubbock.
Daybreakers were glad to hear from Kelly and Lance and will have another treat from Lance when he returns for the August 22nd program to talk about their program for continued learning for the 50+ community.
