It's a new world with tremendous benefits, according to Jeanette Jones who presented modern home-schooling to Daybreak Rotary on April 15.

The support of others in the area who also home-school and the availability of curricula from publishers make home-schooling viable for a family willing to put in the effort. Jeanette shared a lot of information about how the process can work and how the lessons are organized while Martha did a little "show and tell" with the children who were present. They were very impressive in their demonstration of acquired facts.

The program was arranged by Rotarian Jeff Watts who is shown in the photograph with his daughter, Ruth.
