We were reminded that that museum is located in the original Marble Falls granite school building, built in 1892. Originally the school was a university that provided housing for young men but overtime women were admitted. However, they could not stay overnight. Overtime the structure was outpaced by newer construction and transformed into an administration building for the Marble Falls ISD.

Visiting Rotarian, Phil Roberts, shared an enlightening perspective of "Leadership" with the Marble Falls Daybreak Rotary Club on April 21, 2026.
Phil and his wife escape the Illinois winters each year and head south to soak up some Hill Country sunshine! This year they have made time to frequently attend Daybreak's meetings. Phil attended the Air Force Academy and flew fighter jets during Vietnam. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Aviation Hall of Fame.
On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, Mark Kincaid provided the Marble Falls Daybreak Rotary Club an overview of the services the Texas Ramp Project offers and its local impact. The organization was formed through the efforts of the Kiwanis Club of Richardson, Texas in 1985. The Texas Ramp Project's vision is to assure that no Texas resident lacks safe access because of financial limitations.
To that end, Daybreak Rotary made a donation to their future projects. In the foreground you see photos from some of their past projects.
